Good Morning!

Good Morning! Our student stories begin today, and we’re starting with two siblings, Elizabeth Mike and Douglas Levison. Their story is one of family, dreams, challenges, and determination. As siblings growing up together, they have experienced their own share of challenges while continuing to hold on to their hopes for the future. We invite you to follow their story, get to know them a little better, and celebrate the young people they are becoming. Today, we begin with Elizabeth Mike. Elizabeth is a 15-year-old girl and the firstborn in a family of five children, comprising three boys and two girls. She recently completed her Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examinations and is currently waiting for her results. Elizabeth has a strong ambition to become a nurse in the future. She hopes to pursue her education and achieve her dream of working in the health sector. Despite facing challenges in her family, Elizabeth remains hopeful about her future. She lives with her mother, who has been raising the children since she separated from their father in 2018. To provide for the family, Elizabeth’s mother engages in small-scale piecework to meet the children’s basic needs. Despite their difficult circumstances, Elizabeth continues to work hard and remains determined to achieve her educational and career goals.
